I was also looking at the 180mm http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-180mm-f-3.5-L-USM-Macro-Lens-Review.aspx
it's a lot more expensive and doesn't have IS but I loove the image quality.
I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to macro, so I would say IS is important. especially if I want to do handheld macro.
I can't decide. D;
I'll probably end up getting the 100mm, but yeah I need help.
besides I don't think I'll be able to afford the 180mm anyway ._.
